Recoat holds the biggest facilities for non-caustic, non-abrasive, paint and corrosion removal between Melbourne and Sydney; allowing industrial and commercial uses.

What is the process?
Items are fully submerged in a non caustic, non-abrasive solution to remove all paints and coatings (inside and out). Non harmful to all white metal (steel, aluminium, brass and copper). Tank sizes are: Tank1 – 2.4 x 2.4 x 2mtr deep to accommodate truck cabs
Tank 2 – 6.5 x 2.4 x 1.7mtr deep to accommodate complete car bodies and chassis

Is rust a problem?
Recoat offers a non abrasive rust removal process to expose and prevent further corrosion to external and internal areas to provide a clean, undamaged surface for repairs to begin

After paint and rust removal will my item re-rust?
Recoat provides three option to prevent this problem
Number 1; submerge item in 2% rust proof coating, allowing seven days before work commences
Number 2: submerge item in 10% rust proof coating, allowing up to approximately three weeks before work would need to commence.
If the time between stripping and re-working on item was longer than three weeks, we recommend item to be etch primed.
